Opening up a London home safely, with the engineering and the paperwork done properly.

Many London homes have walls, chimney breasts and old alterations that stop the layout from working. We remove load bearing walls, form new openings, take out chimney breasts and install steel beams, so the rooms connect the way you want them to.

Structural work is only as good as the planning behind it. We work with a structural engineer on every job, so the calculations and drawings are ready before any wall comes down. We put in temporary supports, protect the rest of the house and keep the site safe from the first day.

We also handle the paperwork. Building control is notified, inspections are booked at the right stages and party wall matters are dealt with where needed. At the end you get a completion certificate, which you will need when you sell or remortgage.

Usually yes. Most structural work is done in stages, and we keep dust and noise to one area as much as possible. For bigger jobs, we will tell you honestly if moving out for a short time would be easier.
